Yesterday Mr. Sweetie and I had a gathering at our house to celebrate our impending parental status. When I plan these parties, I tend to invite anyone who might have a small, tangential, remote interest in coming, because I like lots of people and I want them to feel welcome and I want to see all my friends, and it feels like I almost never do.
